dstack1014 Apr 18, 2014 6:05 AM (in response to Jack Banatoni)I've got the same issue. Did you ever find an answer? I'm finding very little useful info on this and it's frustrating.

Jack Banatoni Apr 18, 2014 6:46 AM (in response to dstack1014)It was a few years back, so I don't recall the exact solution off the top of my head. Definitely understand your frustration, though! I know whatever I ended up giving the client worked.
Here's a step-by-step on how to export Program Stream for Leightronix systems. I think this is what I ended up doing:
http://www.sictv.org/storage/LEIGHTRONIX_Tutorial_CreatingMPEG2_w.PremierCS4.pdf
There's also a good link from this thread that explains Transport Stream vs Program Stream:

You may want to look into your Media Encoder options under the "Multiplexer" tab and then the multiplexing basic settings, as well.
If you find a solution, please report back for the next person with the issue (as I obviously failed to do, my apologies).

Biggles Lamb Apr 18, 2014 6:52 AM (in response to Jack Banatoni)More info and screengrabs can help.
I use program streams all the time, never a problem with them.
My media player is loaded with them in both mpg and mp4 versions of the movies I make.
What specifically are you setting, and what is the version of Premiere you are using?

5. Re: Export MPEG-2 Program Stream
dstack1014 Apr 18, 2014 7:51 AM (in response to Jack Banatoni)Thanks Jack. I made a preset in the media encoder copying those Leightronix settings in your link. I wonder what it is about those settings that makes it PS. My guess is that all but one or two have nothing to do with PS vs TS. And this tutorial didn't touch the Muliplexer tab, and the Multplexer the options have TS, but not PS.

Jack Banatoni May 23, 2014 8:07 AM (in response to dstack1014)Just curious if this solution ended up working out for you.
I'm running the latest Premiere Pro CC.

geluchi Aug 25, 2014 7:54 AM (in response to dstack1014)Hi, this is an old topic, but the link Jack Banatoni provided with the info to make the exporting preset for Program Stream in Premiere is not available, and i wonder if you have the preset yet or just the exporting settings info to make my own. I have searched the web in order to find it, but i got nothing clear. This would help me a lot. Thank you so much.
