1. Re: Trimming during Project Management Corrupts Video File
benita May 30, 2014 3:10 PM (in response to Nick Spiropoulos)I don't have an answer for you but I will say that this has happened to me before too. It's very disconcerting to have your source file altered when think you're simply copying a section of it. I was on an earlier version of 7 when it happened the last time.

Kevin-Monahan May 30, 2014 3:24 PM (in response to Nick Spiropoulos)Hi Nick,
I see your original project was over 7 GB, but the trimmed project is only 134 MB. Seems like your media is not being included. What kind of media are you working with?
Thanks,
Kevin -
3. Re: Trimming during Project Management Corrupts Video File
Nick Spiropoulos May 31, 2014 6:19 AM (in response to Kevin-Monahan)the image shown above is from a test trim. After corrupting files on a previous trim, I didn't want to risk destroying another file. For this test, I took a duplicated 4k Sony F55 clip that was transcoded to a ProRes 4444 mov and attempted a quick short trim.
