1. Re: Multi cam sequence and plural Eyes.
cerruti-timelapse.pt May 19, 2014 5:05 PM (in response to Saad Khan)I am also having big troubles with plural eyes and premiere. I have several shots from one camera and several shots from a second camera, the thing is the audio keeps recording and then I sync with plural eyes.
On CS6 I used to make 2 sequences, one for each camera, and then create a multicam sequence. It worked like a charm. This workflow seems impossible on the CC, even with both cameras in sync on the timeline... once they are in the multicam windows its just impossible to edit...When I use the PluralEyes extension the same happens as you. I got black stuff..and if I full screen the timeline it appears all black...
I have 7 videos of 45min each to present.. and I'm very worried, as you can imagine.

2. Re: Multi cam sequence and plural Eyes.
JSS1138 May 20, 2014 1:09 PM (in response to Saad Khan)You do not yet have a multicam sequence for multicam editing. Or at least, what you're posted is just the Source sequence. You still need to nest that into a second sequence and Enable Multi-Camera.

Saad Khan May 20, 2014 3:23 PM (in response to JSS1138)Hi Jim. I did exactly what you said and it didn't work. I've posted up the sequence before I took those steps. I've been watching a heap of tutorials on YouTube and the plural eyes website.

4. Re: Multi cam sequence and plural Eyes.
JSS1138 May 20, 2014 7:44 PM (in response to Saad Khan)Likely you've done something wrong, but without being there to watch, it's difficult to know where. So...let's start fresh.
1. Create a sequence matching your media.
2. Add your clips and sync them up, one camera per track.
3. Create a second sequence matching the first.
4. Nest the first sequence into the second.
5. Right click that nested sequence and select Multi-Camera>Enable...

5. Re: Multi cam sequence and plural Eyes.
Saad Khan May 21, 2014 2:12 AM (in response to JSS1138)I've done exactly as you said. As I scrub through the timeline, I choose which camera angle I want by pressing 1, 2, or 3. But when I play back, nothing has happened. Am I doing something wrong?

6. Re: Multi cam sequence and plural Eyes.
JSS1138 May 23, 2014 6:01 PM (in response to Saad Khan)You do the cutting in the Multi-Camera view of the Program Monitor. Click the wrench underneath.

8. Re: Multi cam sequence and plural Eyes.
JSS1138 May 24, 2014 10:43 AM (in response to Saad Khan)Do you see the bounding box turn from yellow to red? That indicates that you're recording.
You are playing this when switching, right? Don't just scrub, stop and change numbers. Hit Play, then change the number.

9. Re: Multi cam sequence and plural Eyes.
Saad Khan May 25, 2014 7:01 AM (in response to JSS1138)Ok. The bounding box goes red. But then I stop, scrub, and do the same thing. It takes way too long to play a 90 minute video and do that. Is that what I'm supposed to do?

10. Re: Multi cam sequence and plural Eyes.
JSS1138 May 25, 2014 2:00 PM (in response to Saad Khan)I've found over the years that the most efficient method for cutting multicam is to do the first pass live. Just hit Play and let it run, making rough cuts as it goes. When that's done, you go through a second time in the sequence, tweaking those cut positions as necessary. This pass you can scrub around.

11. Re: Multi cam sequence and plural Eyes.
Saad Khan May 25, 2014 3:19 PM (in response to JSS1138)It seems really time consuming. It was much better before, where I could just open the multi cam monitor in CS5.5. Is there any chance of Adobe bringing the old version of he multi cam back? I have already started another discussion with this question.
