Not sure if this is the correct forum - feel free to move it where you will Peter!

I am writing help for a web-based Java application that will be used on desktops and tablets. Has anyone used version 11 to produce tablet output that will be linked to an application (that is, not standalone ebooks or other options).

For how CSH works:

  • In that case, check the API in <RH installation folder>\CSH API

  • If you want to know more about how it works, see

http://www.wvanweelden.eu/articles/context-sensitivity-multiscreenresponsive-html5

You can simply open the CSH url in a new window. If you want something

more fancy, you will have to manually create a way to show the content

in your application. There no default way for this.

Kind regards,

Willam

Could you elaborate on what you mean by linked?

Do you want to call the content of a RoboHelp project from your app? Or

did you have something else in mind?

Kind regards,

You're exactly right Willam, I mean called from the application.

Thank you Willam. I'll forward this information to my developers.

On my side of the equation, our target is currently iPad only. Which output option should I use?

I would recommend the Responsive HTML5 option. That is by far the easiest to configure for you. And when you decide to add support for phones/pc's, the help will work automatically without any action from you.
