problem in installing trial s/w

when i try to install the trial s/w for the 1st time, the foll. error msg appears.

Error 1603 - Fatal error during installation. Consult windows installer help (Msi.chm) or MSDN for more information

Are you installing using your logon and with admin rights attached?

It's not a normal message but the most frequent cause of installation issues is the wrong logon, hence the question.

I just googled Error 1603. The first two are:

If one of the Google items does not fix it, you will need to contact Adobe. It would help if you could post back whichever solution does fix the problem.
