Style List Not Complete

Using RH6, trial version.

I linked the default.css file to all my topics. The default.css file contains about 20 styles.

I am also using a template, which I've made sure is linked to the style sheet and is used by all topics.

However, when I click on the Style List in the WISIWYG editor, I only see about 12 styles.

These are the missing styles:
Background Text
Drop down hotspot
Drop down text
Expanding hot spot
Glossary term
Hyperlink (active)
Hyperlink (hovered)
Hyperlink (unvisited)
Hyperlink (visited)
Lists
Text only popup hotspot

Why don't I see these styles in the Style List drop-down?

Thanks!

Jason

Do you have the "Hide Inherited Styles" option selected?

The "Hide Inherited Styles" check box is cleared. No matter, that control appears in the "Styles" dialog box. I am not interested in the Syles dialog box. I'm looking at the list of styles that shows up in the Formatting toolbar, "Apply Style" drop-down list. I'm questioning why that list appears to be incomplete.

Those styles are not styles you can apply. RoboHelp uses them when you create, for example, a link. You cannot apply that style to text to make it look like a link.

That is why those styles are not in the dropdown but are in the style editor to allow you to change their appearance.

Got it. Thanks. The interface could be a little clearer on this point. I didn't realize RoboHelp applied styles "automatically" (at compile time, I assume).
