Bug: Entire Site Publish (with Master of Master Pages)

I have been dealing with this bug since August 2013 and have finally come up with some new information on it (here's my post from back then on the forums).

Background: I have a 200+ page website and rather slow internet speed so an entire site publish everyday is frustrating. I would assume that most people who have this glitch wouldn't even realize it.

Cause: Back then I created a master for all my master pages so that any site design change was only happening on 1 template rather than 20+. Every time I open my site and make a change, but only once, it will publish the entire site. This is even if I'm not altering the master and choose to publish only modified files.

New Information: I was recently testing something and created a master page which was not linked to my "overall master" page. If I open my site and make a change on this page then publish, it's a miracle and the publish takes a few seconds. All publishes after that even to my other pages (on the master of the master) do not do an entire site publish. But if I open the site and make a change on a page that has a master with master page I'm being forced to entire site publish the first time.

It's great to have this workaround for the time being, it will save me around 30 minutes a day but It would be even better if the bug was gone.
