I create manuals that is multi-page document that requires facing pages and master pages. When I attempt to delete 1 page or a spread with content/images on them the master page elements are applied over my content.
I think this is a known issue with spread facing page, try to thread text frame and included the image as anchor object, then when you want to delete something deleted from inside text frame and don't delete the page.
Thank you for your feedback.
I thought it was something to do with InDesign but haven't been able to find more information on this. Not sure what you mean by thread text frame and include the image as anchor object? My text content is threaded throughout the document if that is what your referring to? I never worked with anchor objects. Where is a good resource?
I prefer to be able to delete pages. No other workaround you know of? For what I do for now is group all content of each page and realign the pages in place. Not too painful now but will be a problem when a bigger page count.
In the pages panel, in the options pull-down menu, uncheck "Allow pages to shuffle" and "Allow spread to shuffle". This should allow you to delete desired pages.
Thanks for your response. I have tried that a hundred times and doesn't work for facing pages.
