I generated WebHelp this morning and all screenshots were displaying correctly. A few hours later, I generated WebHelp again and all screenshots have been replaced with the fractured icon in Chrome. Can anyone advise please?

Are they appearing correctly if you use another flavour of browser? That would narrow it down to either a RH issue or a Chrome one.

Hello Jeff,

It is also happening in IE (displaying red crosses) and in Firefox (displaying nothing).

Hello Jeff,

To add something else here - if I preview a topic using Chrome, IE or Firefox, the screenshots are displayed. So this makes me think that generating the files causes the problem. I still don't know what that problem is though.

Excuse my ignorance but where can I find the sample files in order to test them?

If they’re not showing on your Welcome splash page, they should be in C:\Users\user_name\Documents\My RoboHelp Projects\Adobe RoboHelp 10\Samples

I found them on my local drive - thanks.

I've opened a couple of sample projects and generated WebHelp from both of them; the images are displaying properly.

So, I'm guessing that it must be my specific project.

For the future, it's usually easiest to locate the samples from the Open Project dialog.

Hi there

Is this occurring immediately after you view the generated content or after you publish it to a server? Or both?

Cheers... Rick

I have managed to fix the problem although still unclear about why it happened originally.

I removed an apostrophe from a folder name, the folder that contained all the files. And now I can see the images again - hooray.

Does RoboHelp have an issue with punctuation perhaps?

Thanks to all who helped along the way.

Thanks Jeff.

Points to remember and investigate next time RH dislikes what I'm doing.

Your guidance is much appreciated
