It tells me to close safari, which I do and then it click retry and it stalls and says the same thing

So, I downloaded adobe and everything was fine until it got pretty close to finishing when it told me to close safari. I closed everything! and it told me the same thing. I gone through the same process twice and it still just hesitates and says the same thing after I close safari and click the retry button.

You need to close all instances of Safari, not just the browser window.  If you don't know how, restart your computer, then run the installer before doing anything else.
