Am running internet explorer 9. Am encountering ridiculous problems getting flash player installed. One solution I read in some forum states browser should be shut down. If I do this how do I get to the adobe site to start download. I need detailed instruction the like of which I have not seen. Why is this so damn difficult and time consuming ?.

I don't know what difficulties you encounter; but if the installer asks you to close the browser, just close it.  Or follow these steps
