    Edge Code Start Up Bug

      Anytime I start my Adobe Edge Code, It asks me If I want to take a survey? make Edge Code, my default CSS and JS editor? every single time I open Edge Code. Also Edge Code keeps on showing what Live Preview is anytime I open it making it frustrating. How do I disable it. Thanks in advance.

          Edge Code should save your responses (I'm assuming that you've clicked "No" to the Survey dialog) in your user settings, so it sounds like those are not getting saved.

           

          Which operating system and version are you on?

          Are you running as a normal user or as an admin?

            I am using a windows 8.1, I also use both Brackets and I can't tell if they are interfering.

            When I need extensions in Edge Code, I copy the extensions folder in Brackets and I replace it totally with that in Edge Code.

            Could it be the problem?

              In general, that shouldn't cause a problem. But Edge Code has a few extra built-in extensions, so there could be a conflict with one (or more) of the extensions that you are installing.

               

              Start by removing all user extensions from Edge Code and then startup, shutdown, and restart to make sure problem is fixed. If so, try copying over extensions from Brackets to Edge Code one at a time to see if you can isolate the problematic extension.

                In another thread, I discovered that there were invalid Kuler preferences. If you're familiar with JSON, then take a look at your brackets.son file. Otherwise, try deleting it.
