JACK LARSON Jun 21, 2014 4:10 PM (in response to MorrieF)Same here. Extension Manager shows installed and enabled. Also in my Applications in Adobe Photoshop CC>Plug-in>Panels, they show up in a folder inside of Panels. But when I click on Extensions in PSCC 2014, all I see is Kuhler. I don't even see Adobe Exchange.

3. Re: Paper texture and Extensions
Carl Sun Jun 21, 2014 11:41 PM (in response to JACK LARSON)Flash based extensions are not supported by PS CC 2014 anymore. Please refer to http://blogs.adobe.com/photoshopdotcom/2014/04/photoshop-spring-cleaning.html, http://blogs.adobe.com/jkost/2014/06/installing-the-2014-release-of-creative-cloud.html
And http://blogs.adobe.com/crawlspace/2014/06/2014-release-of-photoshop-cc-faq.html#plugins (scroll down to "Why don’t my 3rd Panels show up in the 2014 release of Photoshop CC? What happened to Oil Paint, Mini-Bridge & Kuler?”)
There is a new Kuler HTML5 panel available on Add Ons: http://adobe.ly/UgxQSN
If some extensions are not supported by PS CC 2014, you have to continue to use them in PS CC until their HTML based counterparts become available.

giuliobagnari Jun 22, 2014 3:22 AM (in response to Carl Sun)Hi Carl Sun, I realized that PS CC 2014 don't support Oil Pant, Mini Bridge & Kuler, my problem is another: in my extension manager CC 2014 (7.2.0) I see Alce, Adobe Texture Pro, Adobe Watermark, but when I open CC 2014, window, extension is gray....in PS CC works perfectly....Is this normal ? This both in desktop and in laptop, Windows 7. Tks...

Thank you for your post! I did not realize Adobe paper texture pro was Flash based. I sure hope the HTML based counterpart becomes available soon.
Thank you for you time!

6. Re: Paper texture and Extensions
Carl Sun Jun 22, 2014 7:50 PM (in response to giuliobagnari)I checked Adobe Texture Pro and Adobe Watermark just now. They are ordinary extensions instead of Flash based extensions. So they should work in PS CC 2014, although I haven't installed PS CC 2014 to try them. You can check if you can find ""Adobe Paper Texture Pro" and "Adobe Watermark" subfolders in "/Applications/Adobe Photoshop CC 2014/Plug-ins/Panels" folder. If you can find them, then they are installed successfully. I don't know why Extension menu item is gray in PS CC 2014.
I haven't installed Alce, but I remember it is a hybrid extension (a Flash based extension is embedded). So I think it doesn't work in PS CC 2014.

IanMears1 Jun 23, 2014 1:39 AM (in response to Carl Sun)I have the same problem - they appear in extension manager as enabled but the Window\Extension menu item is greyed out. I checked the CC 2014 plug-in\panel folder and they are there.

9. Re: Paper texture and Extensions
JACK LARSON Jun 23, 2014 12:37 PM (in response to Carl Sun)Carl - these extensions show up in a folder inside of my Adobe PhotoshopCC 2014 Panels folder, but they don't show up under Extensions when I open up PSCC 2014. However, Tom Ruark's HTML version of the Adobe Paper Texture Pro extension does show up, and it works like a charm.

Carl Sun Jun 23, 2014 7:31 PM (in response to JACK LARSON)I am sorry for my carelessness. I checked again. Adobe Paper Texture Pro and Adobe Watermark ARE Flash based extensions, although they are not CSXS extensions. Glad to hear that you you have got the HTML version.

11. Re: Paper texture and Extensions
IanMears1 Jun 24, 2014 10:40 AM (in response to Carl Sun)OK, got something appearing in the Windows\extension menu item now. I installed the new version of Kuler and that worked ok. The problem seems to be that extension manager is not really very good. Whilst it shows all the extensions as being installed and ok it doesn't seem to be smart enough to work out which ones are flash based and won't work. I can see this being a not inconsiderable source of confusion for many users who won't have a clue if an add-on is flash based or not. Seems to me CC 2014 was a little rushed out the door and the bits around the edges didn't quite make the deadline. At the very least Adobe should have made sure it's own add-ons were updated in time and extension manager make it obvious what needed to be done.
