flash player hanging up at download on mac

Still not able to download recent flash player on mac running lion even after running uninstall

You could try the Flash Player forum. When you post there be sure to explain what "unable to download" means.

It hangs up at "retrieving install".

The only solution that worked for me was that I downloaded it from a link on the helps menu at adobe.com.  I was able to finally download and install flash player 14 from there.
