1. Re: When I generate the TOC in RH7, the first page number is "v" instead of 'i' - how can I fix it?
Peter Grainge Jun 21, 2014 12:15 AM (in response to Fat Max)I'm guessing here but you have two pages before the TOC and Word is probably seeing both of those with Odd section breaks and would print the cover with a blank page after, likewise the copyright. Thus making the TOC the fourth sheet of paper.
Have you printed the document and have you checked the section break type?

3. Re: When I generate the TOC in RH7, the first page number is "v" instead of 'i' - how can I fix it?
Fat Max Jun 23, 2014 5:58 AM (in response to Fat Max)Aha! I checked out the print preview and there are indeed breaks, which puts the first page of the TOC on page "v."
So, if I understand correctly, the TOC is not entirely treated as a unique section of the printed documentation as is the content. Although it receives unique roman numbering, whatever pages precede it are counted toward the page tally.
I assume there isn't a way to alter the numbering in the footer so that the TOC begins with page "i?"
Thanks very much, Peter. I appreciate the help!

Peter Grainge Jul 10, 2014 7:05 AM (in response to Fat Max)Sorry, I missed coming back to you on this. You can edit the number in Word and set it to start at any number you like.
