    PPro'14 - Disable label color?

    Jack Banatoni Community Member

Is there any way to disable the label color within the project panel in PPro'14?  I'm editing a black and white project right now and find it incredibly distracting.  Checking/unchecking "label" in the metadata display doesn't seem to do anything.  I can't even re-order it in the display to at least get it out of sight.

      Thanks,

I have the same issue.  That Label column is just in the wrong spot.  I wish we could put it back where it belongs, to the right of the Name button.  You'd think changing the order in the Metadata settings would allow that, as we can move any other column that way.

Fortunately, I am able to turn it off and get rid of it entirely.  I did have a glitch where the setting wouldn't take for a new project, but a restart of PP into an old project seemed to resolve that.

Thanks, Jim.  You saved my sanity on this project!  I got your trick to work on another project file, but still not my original project.  I ended up changing the workspace and the checkbox magically worked.  Just one of those little mysteries of post-production.

Agreed that it would be nice to rearrange the order of the labels.  Did I mention it's incredibly distracting?    Here comes the most boring feature request ever...
