Wow. Sad news, indeed. Jeremy's programs have no equal and he was always
friendly, helpful, and generous-- actually offering free copies of his
software to unemployed tech writers, as a recall. He will be missed.
P.S. I hope he was able set wheels in motion that will allow his
software to be available and supported in the future. Over the years,
we've seen many good plugins disappear with the loss of their developer.

The mif2go [ Mif2Go converts FrameMaker files to HTML/XML, Help, and Word | mif2go.com ] site is still active, but I don't know if Jeremy had any employees/partners that could continue to run the company. If I hear anything further about this, I'll post details here.
If anybody else any any further information about Jeremy or his company, please feel free to post that here.

From John Sgammato on the Framers list:
Mif2go creator Jeremy Griffith died on May 15th after a long illness.
His wife Debra writes:
"He was born 2-7-42 and passed away on 5-15-14. He was in extreme pain the
last several months of his life, but was getting up for short periods
during the day to continue his
computer work. He worked up until a few days before he died. He loved his
work. He was a good man and we miss him."

So very sad to hear this news! There was no one quite like Jeremy!
Please let me know if you have any information on future development and support. I am a long-time user. I have been trying to upgrade for months (long story).
