2. Re: Is it possible (or feasible) to create an entire website full of animations using Edge Animate?
Departure Jun 25, 2014 2:04 AM (in response to seiginoyami)The animation problems can be solved and you can deliver full websites relying on Edge Animate alone. however,
Like everything else, it is the matter of "gain" & "loss". If your career goal is to become a front-end developer then you should get into habit of working with JavaScript/Jquery, CSS, Html5 etc and build things from scratch with no reliance on assisting software. If you are a Designer, then Edge Animate is good enough to help you build personal/simple interactive projects. Also Average knowledge of Jquery & CSS gives you the freedom to use coding environment inside Edge and become less dependent on the timeline animation. In long run, you should always determine if learning a new software or language is necessary, otherwise, there is always more to learn, and just like Alice in wonderland, the question is, how deep down the rabbit hole you want to go?.
