    Source Settings for BMPCC Crash

I have run into an incredibly frustrating problem in addition to not having the option to disable the baked-in look Premiere puts on BMPCC footage by default.  I have an external monitor plugged into my retina MBP and I'm running dual-screen.  As soon as I try to open the source setting panel to adjust exposure, WB, tint, etc. Premiere crashes.  If I unplug the monitor, I get no issues.  If I open the source settings panel and THEN plug in the monitor, still no issues.  But if I close that source settings panel and try to open it again with the external monitor connected, instant crash.  I have tried a fresh install of Premiere CC2014, and then deleting the preferences files and cache, and my graphics card and OSX are up to date.  I am pulling my hair out trying to get this working and I'm about to give up and go back to Resolve after waiting 6 months for this promised update.

Has this problem happened to anyone else?  None of my other programs are affected by having the external monitor connected, and I'm certainly not taking my laptop's abilities by placing 1 15-second BMPCC clip on an empty timeline with 0 nodes of correction.
