1. Re: Premiere Pro CC (2014) - 8.0.0 crashes at every turn
ChristianRogerZ Jun 25, 2014 11:42 AM (in response to ChristianRogerZ)I also had my co-worker test his new updated version of Premiere Pro CC (2014). His iMac is a Mid 2011 (one year newer than mine)
He received the same errors/crashes. This is on projects that were already created in Pr CC (7.2.2), meaning when opening in old project up in the 2014 update it needed to convert it to a new saved file.
It seemed to work fine when opening and starting a NEW project from scratch. But I need to figure out how to get it to work properly because we will be opening and working on a lot of projects that were created on the older version.Kevin Monahan

3. Re: Premiere Pro CC (2014) - 8.0.0 crashes at every turn
Kevin-Monahan Jun 25, 2014 2:06 PM (in response to ChristianRogerZ)Hi Christian,
Sorry that's happening. One thing to try is to import the project items from earlier projects into your current project via the Media Browser. Can you try that?
Thanks,
Kevin -
4. Re: Premiere Pro CC (2014) - 8.0.0 crashes at every turn
ChristianRogerZ Jun 27, 2014 7:10 AM (in response to Kevin-Monahan)Kevin,
I tried your suggestion and it changed nothing, same problems still occurring :-/
I even started a brand new file from scratch to see if there was a problem with the whole, 'working in an older file that was converted to the 2014 update'.
Still had no effect in correcting any of the errors that occur.
Right now I'm trying out the links that John T Smith provided. I hope something works from that!

6. Re: Premiere Pro CC (2014) - 8.0.0 crashes at every turn
Life. Documented Jun 29, 2014 8:21 AM (in response to ChristianRogerZ)I am running into some of the same issues. The biggest issue for me is that I will get a few edits in and the playback will freeze. As noted above, audio will still scrub but video playback is done for. I then need to close the project. When I do this, Premiere CC 2014 goes non-responsive and I have to kill it in the Windows Task Manager. Feels very much like an alpha product to me, no offense to the engineers.

dankron Jul 6, 2014 2:05 AM (in response to ChristianRogerZ)I'm having exactly the same issue, but mine is not even loading, keeps saying i need to update my graphics card driver.
I don't have any updates. I've installed the latest CUDA Driver Version: 6.0.51 and disabled the auto switching on the energy savings.

9. Re: Premiere Pro CC (2014) - 8.0.0 crashes at every turn
ChristianRogerZ Jul 7, 2014 7:04 AM (in response to John T Smith)I wanted to let people know that this has helped very much. There are still slight issues here and there but not big enough to halt a project. There probably is something similar for Window users. Big Thank you to John T Smit and Kevin Monahan.
For MAC users do the following (posted by John T Smit above):
-next link says After Effects, but check YOUR permissions !!!
-http://blogs.adobe.com/aftereffects/2014/06/permissions-mac-os-start-adobe-applications.ht ml
-Mac 10.9.3 workaround https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1489922

John or Kevin, are there similar instructions for people on the Windows OS?
Thought it would be nice to have for Window users who come across this thread such as Life. Documentedencountered.
