gener7 Jun 29, 2014 7:48 PM (in response to mattiscious)Have you looked in your Documents folder for the Photoshop CC 2014 folder?

CraigTonkin Jun 29, 2014 7:56 PM (in response to gener7)CC2014 apps do not overwrite the existing CC apps. So you'll have to place it in your dock manually by dragging it from your Applications folder. (in MacOSX). Spotlight searches are flakey at best anyway.

mattiscious Jun 29, 2014 8:00 PM (in response to gener7)Weird. It's not in my Documents folder, but all the CC 2014 updates except Muse and InDesign CC 2014 updates were installed in my User > Applications folder instead of my HD > Applications folder.
I don't understand why the updates were installed into 2 different applications folders when I did an "update all" when the CC 2014 apps became available. Particularly bizarre since all the initial CC apps got installed in my HD > Applications folder. Dumb.

mattiscious Jun 29, 2014 8:04 PM (in response to CraigTonkin)Craig, thanks for the reply, but it's not a matter of updating the dock icons after the update. I realize I need to drag the new CC 2014 apps to the dock if I want to access them there. It's more of an issue where all the CC 2014 app updates except Muse and InDesign weren't showing up in my HD > Applications folder where every other app on my machine resides. Instead, most of the CC 2014 updates got installed to my User > Applications folder for some bizarre reason. Those updates are the ONLY apps in that folder.
Anyone know why they would get installed there instead of the normal HD > Applications folder?

5. Re: PS CC 2014 not showing up in Mac Finder after update
gener7 Jun 29, 2014 8:12 PM (in response to mattiscious)My experience was that for some oddball reason, my install location was switched from Applications to my own Documents folder. I found out that the install path was changed in the Creative Cloud Desktop App under > Preferences > Apps > Install location and I had to correct that back to HD/Applications.
As for your plugins, the structure of CC 2014 is different and you might need to wait until your plug-in maker updates it. Simply dragging plugins from the old CC install might cause problems.
