1. Re: How to remove dust after a shot through a dirty window
Rick Gerard Jun 30, 2014 9:21 AM (in response to hpwagner)Stabilize, not warp stabilize the shot, make your corrections on a separate layer, then re-introduce the motion to the shot and add it to the new layer. Here's the basic technique on a completely different type of shot.
If there is a big parallax shift in your shot then this technique may not work. If it doesn't work then show is the shot and we can make some other suggestions.

hpwagner Jul 5, 2014 7:44 AM (in response to hpwagner)Thank you very much for your help. Finally I was more or less successful (further improvements possible!), but I had to improve my knowledge in "tracking" first.

Fuzzy Barsik Jul 5, 2014 10:40 AM (in response to hpwagner)You can also track dirty marks in Mocha, paste tracking data to a Null, parent Clone Stamp, which removes dirt in the first frame, to that Null and adjust Clone Stamp position with an expression. See this discussion for some more details.

4. Re: How to remove dust after a shot through a dirty window
hpwagner Jul 7, 2014 10:48 PM (in response to Fuzzy Barsik)I could manage it according to your recommendation with 1 dirty mark. I have to learn more about "expressions" and "null". Fortunately I have access to V2B and lynda-courses. Thanks.
