1. Re: PPro CC 2014 mask tracking not working on Macbook Pro 2012, OS X 10.9.3
jonathanwarner Jul 2, 2014 5:55 AM (in response to kevinatbcp)Yes, this happens exactly the same with me on my Mac Pro 2010 3.32Ghz with GTX680 Mac graphics card, 20GB Ram and SSD.
Works with the next or previous frame buttons (so I can keep clicking the mouse on either of these buttons, laboriously over and over, and it will track successfully and create a keyframe each time), but with the continuous/automatic tracking play button it stops after 1 or 2 frames. Please can Adobe report and sort? Thank you.

I have the same issue but generally stops after 4 frames. In the latest incident however on the last 2 seconds of clip it tracked fine which makes me think it might be a processing power issue dependent on the graphics card as that where it seems to get rendered.

kevinbf Jul 11, 2014 9:20 PM (in response to kevinatbcp)I think I solved the problem. Delete your user preferences and try the mask tracker again. Worked for me. To delete user prefs easily, hold down Shift + Option (Mac) or Shift + Alt (PC) when starting up PPro.

kevinbf Jul 11, 2014 9:41 PM (in response to kevinbf)Spoke too soon. Got gummed up again. Has something to do with user preferences. When I create new user prefs it works for a bit but soon stops just as before.

petergaraway Jul 11, 2014 10:09 PM (in response to kevinatbcp)Hi Kevin,
Can you please provide screen shots or a screen recording of the issue your experiencing? Capturing the Timeline panel, Program monitor and Effects panel would be helpful.
This will allow us to see exactly what your setup it and hopefully allow us to reproduce the issue.
Thank you,

kevinbf Jul 12, 2014 6:50 AM (in response to kevinatbcp)Just noticed that somehow I had inadvertently enabled "Gang to Reference Monitor". When that mode is enabled, mask tracking doesn't work. When disabled, mask tracking works fine.

pierrekattar Oct 2, 2014 3:21 AM (in response to petergaraway)Hi Peter,
Any progress on getting this fixed? It would be great because "gang to program monitor" is a must when color correcting. That's when I use masks the most so it would be great to get this resolved.
Thanks much for your help!
