1. Re: I had the trial version of Photoshop CC and paid for a monthly membership. Now my computer is downloading Photoshop CC (2014). Surely I don't need both, do I?
MikeFromMesa Jul 1, 2014 7:11 AM (in response to vze2stxr)I asked a similar question in my post and have not received any definitive response. It puzzles me that Adobe would install CC 2014 and not concurrently uninstall CC. And I don't want to remove the CC version until I am sure CC 2014 contains all of the CC functionality.
Very odd ...

CR Henderson Jul 1, 2014 7:45 AM (in response to vze2stxr)CC 2014 is a totally new version—CC is version 14.x and CC 2014 is version 15.x. Adobe normally does not uninstall an older version when a new version is installed.
I decided to keep both around as I sometimes used the Oil Paint filter which has been removed from CC 2014. The extension system has also changed so some are keeping the old version around until the extensions they use are updated to work with CC 2014.

MikeFromMesa Jul 1, 2014 8:57 AM (in response to CR Henderson)Well, that should teach me!
Before I saw your post I opened a "chat" to Adobe support to ask them if there was any functionality in CC that was not in CC 2014. That is, I wanted to know if I would lose any functionality if I uninstalled CC and only kept CC 2014. I was assured, not once but twice, that everything in CC was also in CC 2014 so I uninstalled CC.
