    mercury playback engine only

I have intel (R) Core (TM)-3770K CPU @ 3.50 GHz, 32.0 RAM, 64 bit os,  Windows 7, NVIDIA GeForce GTX670.  I am running Ppro CC 2014.0 release.  For some reason, today, when I opened PPro, it will only run the Mercury playback engine and the CUDA accelerated is not an option.  It appears that I was using an older version of PPro CC (?).  Here is the message that I am getting:

"This project was last used with Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (CUDA), which is either not available or not certified on this system.  Mercury Playback Engine software only will be used"

Can someone please advise me on how to fix this?  It's been working for at least a year.

      Thanks!

There are two ways to solve it. Or should be, anyway.

In Premiere Pro CC (and CC 2014) you can ignore the message and should be able to set your project to use your hardware.

Or, just search your hard drive for a file named cuda_supported_cards.txt and delete it. That's it. Just delete it. Then you should be able to set your project to use the hardware. There are lots of these files. Just delete the Premiere Pro one, or all of them. Your choice. Or if it makes you nervous, feel free to rename them.
