Resize user submitted image on upload

Is there a way to resize an image submitted using a user-submitted web app form? Ideally the image type would be restricted to .JPG, .PNG, .GIF and resized on upload with a max size of 3MB or less.

Hi Tim_Adventure,

It's not possible to resize an image upon submission. However it is possible to resize that image once it is inserted on a page. You can do this as outlined in the following document: Dynamically generate thumbnail images

Hi, Matt,

Thanks for the link. We're already using that elsewhere. I was hoping to keep users from uploading 8Mb files when something 800k would do.
