Ok Mylenium.Does the systems details really matter?
Anyway. PC, W7, AMD 2,8gh, RAM 8g.
About the file: It's just one .mov 30minutes file. Imported in premierCC, cutted at the beginning and at the end, and then exported in EDL.
When importing in Speedgrade the EDL file, the reel is not loaded. No way to load from desktop (EDL and source files stay in the same dir), no way to drag and drop the source file to the reel icon

6. Re: speedgrade CC, reel not loaded
Patrick J. Palmer Jul 10, 2014 2:15 AM (in response to roberto.caronti)Hello everyone,
a couple of thoughts on the EDL workflow:
if you have one large file like described below and need to slice it into edits, I'd typically go for the easy EDL workflow:
Check this blog post:
Super-Easy EDL Workflow in SpeedGrade
For every other scenario, it is typically best to quickly check that you are following EDL conventions, like the 8 character REEL ID (SpeedGrade also accepts 16 characters, that makes it viable to work with reel naming like done by RED or ARRI and many other manufacturers of digital cinema equipment), or the tag that specifies from which source the file was cut originally.
Next step is to make sure you don't have multiple fils that carry the same name - in this scenario, SpeedGrade won't be able to conform automatically. This could look like this:
MYREEL01.mov is in the same folder structure as MYREEL01.R3D - you'll need to help SpeedGrade identify the correct reel. This is easy to do with the wild card option in the SpeedGrade Media Browser. just narrow down the options to the material that you actually need to get online.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Patrick
