If I were to edit my RoboHelp source HTML files outside of RoboHelp, what does the community recommend? Notepad? Wordpad? Word? If you want to know why, my boss does not want to pay for another RoboHelp license.

To save $30 a month for a subscription!

Notepad or any text editor is fine. Presumably you will then copy the files back to a machine with Rh to update the output and searches etc. Do not use Wordpad or Word.
