Is it possible to delete the footing row in a table that's already been created? I don't see anything in the Table Designer that allows me to do that. (I'm using FM 11).

Unfortunately, no.

Create a new table with the same number of rows/columns and without a footer row. Then, copy/cut & paste the desired contents.

  1. Select entire footing row.
  2. Edit > Clear
    Clear Table Cells : Options
    <*> Remove Cells from Table

Or is this an answer to a different question?

This method worked--almost. I was able to delete the footing row, but for some strange reason it also deleted another row from the table (Row 1 of 3). I decided to do it that way, and re-add the needed row--still less work than Arnis's method.

Thanks!
