Arrow'd Jul 10, 2014 2:40 PM (in response to P Spier)We're checking with them right now too.
They're in Belgium so the turnaround is a bit slow.

3. Re: Placed graphic is distorted when printed
Willi Adelberger Jul 11, 2014 12:02 AM (in response to Arrow'd)If you are working with Photoshop files with vectors or text or both you have to save as Photoshop PDF (with all layers, use the standard editibilty mode) or as PDP (which is the same with a different extension, to see the difference between other PDF from Illustrator (AI), or other applications (PDF).
Place that PDF/PDP in your InDesign file and the vectors become crispy.
Otherwise, with placing PSD or TIFFs you will get rasterized vectors based on the image resolution, not on the device's resolution as with PDF which is much higher.

Sorry for the delay.
It turns out it was a low-res rip from the printer.
We got the new guy on their end and he thought it was just a placement proof.
Thanks for the feedback.
