Waveforms are not showing neither for audio clips or video clips.
I tried clean cache, and play with all the options in Preferences>Media Cache
including
-Save media cache files next to original
-Write XMP ID to files on import
-Enable cliip and XMP metadata linking
All what I see instead waveforms are only empty channels without any waveform inside.
