I am getting the error E_ADEPT_REQUEST_EXPIRED. Nothing has changed, same computer, version of ADE, Nook Color, etc. Digital Editions just stopped accepting books in the .acsm format in the last couple of days.

I am getting the error  E_ADEPT_REQUEST_EXPIRED. Nothing has changed, same computer, version of ADE, Nook Color, etc. Digital Editions just stopped accepting books in the .acsm format in the last couple of days. I have tried all of the suggested fixes, no joy. And going back the earlier version of Digital Editions will not work with the acsm format. What now?

I have the same problem.

Found these links in Google:

Error: E_ADEPT_REQUEST_EXPIRED | Digital Editions

This link mentions having the wrong date, time, or time zone in your computer.

"Error getting license. Server communication problem: E_ADEPT_REQUEST_EXPIRED"

The second comment mentions this error is caused by downloading the eBook before the Acrobat Digital Edition is downloaded but it does not say how to resolve it.  šŸ˜ž
