Outlook.com – POP mail set up – Business Catalyst

I've put Outlook.com because I wasn't sure if there were any set differences between that and 2007, for example.

Anyway, I'm trying to set up a POP account for a customer in the browser-based Outlook.com mail client.

I've found the accounts settings page (under 'options' – nice one Microsoft!).

For the Incoming settings I've got mail.karinfrances.co.uk, Port 110 with secure SSL enabled.

User Name and password are those for the BC mail account.

The SMTP settings are mail.btinternet.com, Port 465 with SSL Enabled.

But I keep getting an error... 'can't connect to the POP3 mail server' – we can get webmail and the domain is set up to use BC as the e-mail host.

The domain has also been re-legated from Namesco where it was originally registered.

      Any clues gratefully received.
