Captivate 8.0 Trial delivers AAM error message / ACC issues / Won't start

Currently have Dreamweaver 6 installed - runs fine.

Downloaded trial of Captivate 8.0 - installed - when started returns message: Adobe Application Manager, required to start your trial, is missing, or damaged. Uninstalled AAM, and downloaded AAM 8.0 All, and Creative Cloud Trial.

Same message.  Uninstalled AAM, Captivate, ACC. Re-downloded all and reinstalled all Akamai, AAM, ACC, Captivate.

Same message.  After I click OK, Captivate starts then closes.

When I run AAM, it states I need to download and install ACC.

Do that, and still get same errors.  Cannot open Captivate to apply any patches.

Looking for ideas (What windows services are required to run these?)
