If the photo is uncropped, and you make sure "Resize to Fit" is uncheck in the Export dialog box, then you should get every single pixels in the original file. Please show us a screen capture of your export dialog box
agreed - and thats what used to happen. I think it stopped working that way when i had to reinstall all the adobe apps when CC14 came out.
The photo is cropped - but that should not matter. The file being saved is still half the size of the cropped image. And when i did this a month ago, it recreated the exact same dimensions in the jpgs and not just once - every time. Now i cannot get it to work at all.
This composite grab shows the export dialogue, you can also see the images correct dimensions in the metadata section, and on the right is the file this dialogue created - less than half the dimensions it should be!
You have Export 'File Naming' 'Rename To' a 'Custom Settings.' I have no idea what the custom settings are, but it shows 'Tuscan Cypress Trees 5.jpg in the posted screenshot. What happens if you change 'Rename To' > 'Filename-Custom text' and put in' Test Export' or something like that for the custom text?
no - thats not it.but thanks for the suggestion
I just figured out the problem.
It seems Lightroom had lost the original photo and was working on a Smart Preview file. Once i had located the original it saved it properly.
I suppose that serves me right for not reading the manual before jumping in to this app!
