FlashPlayer 13 Plug-in uninstall?

Running WIN7, Trying to uninstall Flash Player 13 and Flash Player 13 Plug-In.

the Player uninstalled but the Plug-In will not. When attempting the uninstall from the control panel, get error:

"Config Data for this product is corrupt. Contact Support."

Any Help would be greatly appreciated!

Here's my recommendation.

Download the Flash Player uninstaller:  Uninstall Flash Player | Windows

Restart your machine.  Seriously.  Actually reboot.  It eliminates a bunch of potential variables.

Run the uninstaller.

That will probably take care of it, but just reply if it's not working and we'll help you figure it out.

Jeromie, thanks for feedback. I have already downloaded the uninstaller and copied it to the desktop and ran it. The uninstall shows good but the plug-in is still listed on the control panel.

im thinking something still in the registry...

Hi Kevin,


Can you please provide the FlashInstall.log file.  If you have a 32-bit OS, it'll be in C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash.  If you have a 64-bit OS, in addition to the previous location, there will be another file in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macrome\Flash. Please follow the How to share a document instructions to sharing the files.
