I've been trying to install flash player but it seems it doesn't work. I already deleted older versions, I closed all applications (I turned off and on my computer and start with the installation without doing anything before), I tried looking at the "Content Package" and it seems the download is not complete every time (see below the screenshots). Please help!!

Hi Solange,

We’re sorry you've encountered problems installing Flash Player.  Unfortunately, we've been unable to consistently reproduce this issue and we’re looking for a few volunteers to help us generate debug logs.

If you’d simply like to get Flash Player installed, please try downloading and installing from our “stand alone” installer located here: http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/support/install_flash_player_osx.dmg.  We suspect this simple step will resolve the majority of the problems that are being encountered.

If you’re up for helping us figure this out, and you don’t mind running commands from the Terminal application or looking for logs in the Console, please send an email to ccampbel@adobe.com with the title of this thread as the subject.

Thank you.

OK! Let's take 7 steps ... an easy answer to a focus problem not a machine problem.

1.1. Download the Adobe Flash Player file version 14 at Adobe - Install Adobe Flash Player

1.2 or dowonload the above link: http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/support/install_flash_player_osx.dmg

2.1 Double-click the AdobeFlashPlayerInstaller_14_ltrosxd_aaa_aih.dmg in your download folder

4. Do not double-click the red face (png file) - Installer "Install Adobe Flash Player".

5. Right click the face to perform a precise selection: Show Package Contents.

6.1 Select - Contents and double click; Select - Resources and double click; Select - Adobe Flash Player.pkg and double click.

6.2 Warning!! Select - Contents and double click; Select - Resources and double click; Select - app.bundle and copy it to your internet plugin folder (more work!!)

7. Select: Continue and complete your installation.

Hi Alexander,

The instructions you provide are not for the online installer (downloaded from get.adobe.com/flashplayer) which you have in step 2.1 and will confuse people.  "Adobe Flash Player.pkg" does not exist inside the online installer package bundle.

Usually, when folks have problems with the online installer, the off-line installer works fine (as it did for the OP) without having to go into the package contents
