Debian 6. Flashplayer unpacked ok does not run.

Unpacked into /home/barry/flashplayer OK.

Copied directory usr to /usr OK copied libflashplayer.so to /usr/lib/firefox/plugins/ OK. Does not play video or even display start screen.

The test page on Adobe shows version 10 still installed but is inactive also.

I changed to Debian 6 and installed ver 11


Any ideas ?
