    Acrobat X Pro tracker won't load in Windows 8.1

      Hi,

       

      I have been using Acrobat X Pro with Windows 7 for several years and had few problems with the review tracker. Sometimes it wouldn't load the system tray icon, so I had a shortcut to the tracker file (AdobeCollabSync.exe) so i could kill the process and restart it.

       

      Recently, I have upgraded to Windows 8.1 and am having problems. Everywhere I look, nothing suggests any incompatibility with Windows 8.1.

       

      The tracker process won't start, I have tried running it from the folder as well as adding to the startup folder and the process won't start at all. I have another problem in that I can make a new review without trouble, but when I open it up again, Acrobat X Pro just crashes immediately. The exact same file works in Windows 7 without a problem.

       

      I have tried all available compatibility modes in the file's properties but to no avail.

       

      Has anyone else had a problem running the tracker in Windows 8.1? Its something I use at work and need it running again.
