Objects changed position (without me making any changes)

Hi Adobe,

I just got back from vacation and discovered that my website now looks really, really strange: Bewersdorf Laboratory

As you can see in the left image below, many of the animated objects are not were they are supposed to be.

... These objects all used to be hidden behind the big black circle in the middle of the image, as shown in the right image below.

I haven't made any changes to the website since the beginning of July (2014), so I am guessing something changed in Chrome (the browser I am using).

Is there anything I can do to fix this, without redoing the whole animation?

If you have set the origin on the items that are now out of place then you should check out this thread which will probably have a fix for you.

What browser are you testing on. It looks fine on iPad - salary or chrome. I'll check desktop browsers later.

Thanks for looking into this.

I have now tested the homepage in Chrome on multiple desktop computers.
I saw the same bug on all computers... except one, which is very strange.

Hi again resdesign,

I just realized that the one computer (in which the edge element looked right) was using an outdated version of chrome... after updating chrome I saw the same bug again.

IE does not load
Opera - bad
Chrome - bad
Firefox - good
Safari - good

Ipad
Safari - good

By the way on iPad, the desktop version works. I did not even click the mobile version.

Hey ppprd,

Just want to say thanks for you feedback. You were right - the garbled layout was caused by a bug in Edge. The bug made Edge animations incompatible with a recent update to Chrome.

Fortunately, with the new version of Edge (CC 2014), everything works again.
