1. Re: A5 design easily changed to A1?
Salah Fadlabi Jul 31, 2014 4:20 AM (in response to Iris17)For me i can draw a frame with none color around the edge of A5 page, and command group all items then copy and paste on a blank A1 page and use scale tool (about 400%). after that you need to edit the images in photoshop to match the resolution of new size.

P Spier Jul 31, 2014 4:36 AM (in response to Iris17)Another option is to place the pages from the A5 into a new A1. There's a script at InDesignSecrets » Blog Archive » Zanelli Releases MultiPageImporter for Importing both PDF and INDD Files that will place all the pages and scale them in one operation. You still need to have sufficient resolution in your images, though, and upsampling in Photoshop is not going to fix them if they are too small.

3. Re: A5 design easily changed to A1?
Iris17 Jul 31, 2014 5:56 AM (in response to Iris17)Hi, thanks a lot. Both ways worked. However, can't modify anything in the new file anymore. The layout is as the A5 one. Ofcourse I can think of options (chaning the A5 file (remove photos and stick them back in A1), but, is there perhaps a solution how to import the A5-file into A1 and then still be able to modify it? Thx!

How a bout File>place, to import A5 on A1 size then when modify or editing items on A5 you can update the link on A1.
