Captivate 2 will not record

Previously, I used Captivate 2 on an XP machine - but now have it installed on a new notebook with Vista. When I try to record a website demo in Demonstration mode - Captivate take a screenshot of my first page - then does not record after that. I was trying to show how to use an online shopping cart - and it simply will not record my actions. Is there some kind of conflict with Vista? Is there anyway I can get this to straighten up and fly right?

Hi jebedard and welcome to our community

Well, there's good news and bad news. The good news is that Captivate 3 was announced today. This means a version is coming soon that is guaranteed to work with Vista. The bad news is that it won't happen right off. Captivate 2 isn't quite "Vista compatible". Click here to perform a search of these forums using the term "Vista" to find some threads that may help.
