1. Re: Problem Exporting - Append to PDF?
Luc Lorent Aug 5, 2014 11:25 PM (in response to myDavey)Isn't it possible to resize the original document?
If you set the liquid page rule of the master pages used to "scale" and change their page size, all the elements in your document will be scaled accordingly. It's the same effect as placing a PDF and you keep it all editable.
You don't need scripts than either.

Laubender Aug 6, 2014 3:50 AM (in response to Luc Lorent)@Luc – liquid layout might be all good and well, but if you have paragraphs that honour the document wide baseline grid you are in deep trouble…

4. Re: Problem Exporting - Append to PDF?
myDavey Aug 6, 2014 4:40 AM (in response to Luc Lorent)Hi Luc
If what you're saying is true it would be perfect
Can you just explain a little more what I should do?
I went to the master and chose "scale" from liquid layout dropdown
Then I changed the page size
But the items on the page did not scale with it?
Thanks
David

5. Re: Problem Exporting - Append to PDF?
Luc Lorent Aug 6, 2014 4:50 AM (in response to myDavey)The liquid page rule on the master page should be "scale".
On the normal pages, the liquid page rule should be "controlled by master" or "scale".
If you then change the size of the master page, everything should scale accordingly.

myDavey Aug 6, 2014 6:11 AM (in response to Luc Lorent)Thanks Luc
But it seems that each item needs to be set on its own...?
The pages are set by default to "controlled by master"
The master page was set to "off"
I turned master to "scale", then I enlarged the page size - but the items on the master pages did not scale
How do I get the objects on the master pages to scale with the page size?
