Larry G. Schneider Aug 10, 2014 2:34 PM (in response to cherrydesignsuk)Set the type and then in the Appearance panel add a couple of new strokes and drag below the Character line. Make one Black and the one below it the yellow.

MW Design Aug 10, 2014 3:05 PM (in response to cherrydesignsuk)I'm thinking the black is simply a drawn path. It's not even enough around some characters to have been a line or offset path. Then the green line added to it.
What I mean is the spacing to the left of the 'G' and to the right of the ending 'e' is a lot thinner than the reveal at the top/bottom.

MW Design Aug 10, 2014 3:55 PM (in response to cherrydesignsuk)Here is a linky to the AI file as requested. Type is now curves, colors for the letters and the background black filled path with the green outline, as well as the feather can be changed via the Appearance Panel.
