1. Re: Reporting Likert scale and actualy any other question type in Analyzer
renee1972 Oct 20, 2014 8:11 AM (in response to boboxjordan)Hi B, I'm just looking at this myself now. Likert is disabled for me as I'm using captivate 8 responsive html5. I did see a workaround thread that pointed to a tutorial describing how to recreate a Likert style question using radio widgets - I'm just looking for it now otherwise I'd post a link. (although I have a feeling the widget may not work for html5)

Lilybiri Oct 20, 2014 8:51 AM (in response to renee1972)Radiobuttons 'interaction' works for HTML5 output. My articles were for the widget, but now it has been replaced by an interaction that is compatible with HTML5.
You can also use MCQ to mimick Likert.

renee1972 Oct 20, 2014 10:53 AM (in response to Lilybiri)Can you put multiple MCQ's on one slide? (with horizontal layout) or does that require the widget?

Lilybiri Oct 20, 2014 11:27 AM (in response to renee1972)No way to have MCQ horizontal, you'll need the radiobuttons interaction in that case. Only way to have a horizontal sequence of radio buttons.

5. Re: Reporting Likert scale and actualy any other question type in Analyzer
renee1972 Oct 22, 2014 3:12 AM (in response to Lilybiri)OK so having had a play around it seems that a simple option is:
- Use transparent buttons with a 3px stroke
- Inside and under each transparent button put a green circle
- Group the circles
- Whenever a button is pressed hide the circle group then make the single green circle corresponding to that button visible
- Clear and assign a variable with a value associated to that button
This seems quite simple. Provided I can capture the variable values using the captivate to google spreedsheet widget it will work for me.

renee1972 Oct 22, 2014 3:13 AM (in response to renee1972)(I did have issues testing this in a responsive project because the buttons didn't work in preview).

boboxjordan Nov 11, 2014 2:01 AM (in response to boboxjordan)Thank you all for all the ideas. Eventually we decided to go with Surveymonkey since the Quiz Analyser is really very limited with the options for meaningful stats analysis.
However, I may try the MCQ.
