So you don't see it in your Programs & Features?
Can you post the contents of the FlashInstall.log file in C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash
Also, what browser(s) do you use?

Hello,
You have installed the Flash Player version for non-IE browsers. If you visit http://helpx.adobe.com/flashplayer with Firefox it should detect Flash player is installed (the log file doesn't indicate errors during installation).
There is a different version of Flash Player for Internet Explorer. Launch IE and navigate to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer. The page will detect the OS and browser and offer the correct Flash Player version for IE. Download and proceed with installation.

Hi,
Well it appears the problem is fixed. I have a program which requires flash to run and it gives me the message "This content requires Flash and a link to get Flash". So I followed the link to download and install flash. The first time I tried this, nothing happened. But just tried it again and now everything is OK. Thanks for your time.
