I borrowed a library book. Attempting to open it I get an E ADEPT REQUEST EXPIRED error. From what i've read, this arises from conflicts in date and time settings on the computer. But what i want to know is how to FIX it. My computer date/time is correct, synched to NIST. It is no use to tell me to reset it to some other time that some other program thinks is correct (because i have no idea what that would be!!!)

The other possibility is that the ACSM file you were given has expired and that you need to get a new one from the library that you are trying to checkout a book from. The ACSM file that is provided may have expired.
