mhossey Sep 14, 2012 9:21 AM (in response to mhossey)Holy Freaking Balls. When I decided to save my .psd again (after using .pdf settings the save before) It keeps the "save as copy" box clicked, which removes ALL layers. Why didnt I see this before!? wow....well there you have it. As soon as I clicked the box off, my layers appeared again.....would have been nice to notice that before losing my other business card. Guess I'll be doing some re-creating, the joys of design!
I'll chalk that one up to life experience

Dodgums Aug 19, 2014 4:25 PM (in response to mhossey)This "feature" is still in Photoshop CC 2014, high time it got fixed don't you think Adobe? Layers checkbox when saving as PSD should remain ticked after saving to a PDF.
I just lost a days work to this bug.....

Yep. It got me twice before I realised what was going on, and both times I lost a couple of hours work. The killer is that you don't know your file is flattened until you open it again, which in my case had me panicking when a client asked for a fast revision which I was unable to provide until I'd redone the work.

learnitanytime Aug 19, 2014 7:57 PM (in response to mhossey)Happens to the best of us. Expect these little things a couple more times with Photoshop down the road, it is enough to drive you nuts.
Glad you got that out of the way!
