Captivate 8 subscription question

I have a creative cloud membership ( educational) one of the apps I need to learn is Captivate and in my CC icon on my desktop I do not see a link to download it. I read it is 19.99 per month and I already have a CC membership so is Captivate an additional 19.99 per month?

Can someone give me any info?

You are correct. Captivate is not (nor has it ever been) part of the Creative Cloud. So yes, if you want the monthly subscription, it would be in addition to your other software.

Captivate is not a part of Creative Cloud, the subscription version of Captivate will cost you $ 19.99 per month.
Full version Captivate license costs $ 999.
Full version Educational License of Captivate will cost you $ 299.
