RoboHelp Conversion Issues

We had an old RoboHelp project that we converted to the new version 5.05, and we’re having a small problem – it seems that when we add a new topic to an existing Word document, the file saves the new topic with all the seemingly correct settings, but when the project is compiled the new topic is not included. And even if we make text changes to existing topics, those changes are also saved in the Word document, but the changes are not reflected in the compiled .HLP file.

Anyone have any idea what this problem is? It seems like it should be working, since it is saving the document correctly. Are there some global setting we’ve failed to set?

Any thoughts/ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Sally

These types of problems are generally sidestepped by changing the generate path to an entirely new location. If that works, you can strip the results from the old location (empty the folders), and then change the path back to the original setting.

Good luck,
